Dr. Wilson
Dr. Cheryl Wilson, MD FRCSC
Obstetrician Gynecologist
Dr. Wilson is a specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She graduated from the UBC Obstetrics and Gynecology training program in 2012 and provides medical and surgical consultations for general gynecology and high risk obstetric. She has over ten years of experience with minimally invasive surgical approaches and offers laparoscopic and vaginal surgery, as well as hysteroscopy and colposcopy at Peace Arch hospital.
Dr. Sarah Fung, MD FRCSC
Obstetrician Gynecologist
Dr. Fung is an obstetrician-gynecologist who trained at the University of Alberta, where she won awards for her surgical skills and research. She has practiced across British Columbia, Alberta, and the Yukon. She offers general gynecology and high-risk obstetric consultations to her patients. Dr. Fung has a special interest in minimally invasive surgery and operates at Peace Arch Hospital.
Dr. Secily N. Bason-Mitchell, MD, MS, FACOG
Obstetrician Gynecologist
Dr. Bason-Mitchell is a specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology with over 25 years of clinical experience. She provides gynecological surgical care and consultation for high-risk pregnancies, with a particular focus on minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. Dr. Bason-Mitchell completed her training at Harbor–UCLA Medical Center in California, where she received awards for excellence in teaching. She spent the majority of her career in a busy group practice in San Francisco before recently relocating to White Rock, British Columbia.
Dr. Paula Shimmons, MBChB, MRCOG
Obstetrician Gynecologist
Dr. Shimmons is a UK-trained Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with over 15 years of clinical experience in London, England, where she practiced under her maiden name, Dr. Paula Fagan. She provides comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care, with special interests in gynecologic cancer screening and diagnostics, minimally invasive and open gynecologic surgery, menopause care, and the treatment of vulval conditions. She spent over a decade working in busy obstetrics and gynecology departments in London, including leading tertiary referral centres, and has international research experience in gynecologic oncology, publishing in peer-reviewed journals.
